Perodua EV Prototype Success Story
Our experts proudly led the technical development of the Perodua EV prototype, a landmark project by Malaysia’s largest automotive brand. Unveiled at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, it captured nationwide attention with extensive media coverage.
Our team was instrumental in defining the base specifications and ensuring every detail of the prototype met the project’s requirements. This collaboration involved young Perodua engineers working alongside experts from UniKL, UniTEN, and UPM.
This initiative highlights Perodua’s commitment to nurturing fresh talent, preparing their young engineers to take charge of future New Energy Vehicle developments and driving innovation in Malaysia’s automotive industry.

Double-Decker EV Bus for Putrajaya
Our Experts is proud to have played a key role in one of our largest vehicle development projects: the creation of a double-decker electric bus for Nadiputra. Operating in Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital and one of the world’s most picturesque cities, this project was financed by Japan’s New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
Our team was responsible for preparing the engine dynamometer for the bus's complete powertrain, overseeing test development, and conducting performance simulations. At the time of its launch, this was Malaysia’s only double-decker EV bus, setting a new standard for sustainable public transportation in the country.

Feasibility Study on EV Buses in Langkawi
Our expert was entrusted by MARAliner to conduct a comprehensive one-year feasibility study on operating electric buses in Langkawi, a stunning tropical paradise island in Malaysia, is renowned for its pristine beaches, lush rainforests, iconic Sky Bridge, and UNESCO-listed Geopark, making it a top destination for international tourists. This critical study served as a foundation for MARAliner’s decision-making process before expanding EV bus deployment across Malaysia.
Our detailed report analyzed the differences between internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric buses in various aspects, including driving behavior, performance, running and maintenance costs, driver and passenger feedback, and energy consumption. The project was a collaborative effort with TNB, Switchgear, TNBx, and MARA, highlighting a unified commitment to advancing sustainable public transport in Malaysia.

InnoVoltion established Malaysia’s first EV-compatible engine dynamometer to support high-voltage powertrain development and validation. This facility enables structured testing of electric motors and power electronics, strengthening local EV engineering capability and reducing reliance on overseas testing infrastructure.
